Money is a tool for independence and for giving one freedom to do what they care about.

Tisko shows two pictures of the future: how a wealth is expected to move on average, and what happens when assets do poorly.

Who it is for

Tisko help people in different situations.

Some people want to understand the strategic options regarding their own wealth. They want to decide with those pictures in front of them: when to retire, what to spend, and how to mitigate the effect a bad market can have on the overal objective.

Others help relatives or clients reach that same understanding. A family office, a financial advisor, or anyone who prepares a family's choices needs the cases, the comparisons, and the language for a clearer conversation.

You enter what you have, what you can save, and what you will need. Tisko runs thousands of stochastically generated paths from assumptions you set. You build cases and compare them, and you see which strategy fits you or the people you are helping.

What you can change

Tisko is great to get a quick simplified view on the financial future of a wealth and then to go into the details and customization to fine tune the plan.

With Tisko, the user can play with and analyze the effect of three important levers: the mix of assets, the liquidity level (cash kept on hand), and what happens when death happens. These three elements can be combined in the same simulation, so you can compare whole strategies.

Asset mix

You try different allocations, including new asset classes you customize. You set how each asset's return is distributed and how these returns are correlated across classes. You decide which asset classes get to be excluded when the portfolio gets rebalanced every year. Then you watch the future wealth distribution change.

Liquidity

Investing too much in volatile assets can force a sale at a loss in a long downturn. You try different liquidity strategies and see how that affects the simulation results. The aim is a plan you can live with when markets fall.

Death

Nothing in life is more certain than death. Tisko shows what changes when someone dies:

  • – life insurance policy
  • – inheritance given or received
